sketch from a cafe
a simple enough
dinosaur-man
touched his chest
deep
at Cooper street,
as if to monitor
the seepage
of his soul.
Convinced the
valves
were tight,
and ghost parades
had passed,
he flicked his tongue
about his lips
and staggered
into thick
sun.
